The Educator's Edit Book Week Giveaway
Promoter
The promoter of this competition is The Educator's Edit ("Promoter").
Promotion period
The promotion opens at 10:00am AEST on Thursday 27 August 2026 and closes at 3:00pm AEST on Monday 31 August 2026 ("Promotion Period").
Entries received outside the Promotion Period will not be eligible.
Eligibility
Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over who currently work in early childhood education.
Employees of the Promoter and their immediate families are not eligible to enter.
The Promoter reserves the right to verify an entrant's eligibility.
How to enter
Eligible entrants may enter via Instagram, TikTok and/or Facebook.
Instagram
To receive one standard entry, entrants must:
Follow The Educator's Edit Instagram account.
Like the official giveaway post.
Comment on the giveaway post with:
the children's book their room could read 100 times and never get sick of; and
the name of their early learning centre.
Entrants may receive up to two additional bonus entries:
+1 bonus entry: Tag another early childhood educator in a comment on the giveaway post. Only one bonus entry will be awarded for tagging another educator, regardless of the number of people tagged.
+1 bonus entry: Share the giveaway post to their Instagram Story. Entrants with private accounts must take a screenshot showing the Story share and send it to The Educator's Edit via direct message before the Promotion Period closes.
TikTok
To receive one standard entry, entrants must:
Follow The Educator's Edit TikTok account.
Like the official giveaway video.
Comment on the giveaway video with:
the children's book their room could read 100 times and never get sick of; and
the name of their early learning centre.
Entrants may receive up to two additional bonus entries:
+1 bonus entry: Tag another early childhood educator in a comment on the giveaway video. Only one bonus entry will be awarded for tagging another educator, regardless of the number of people tagged.
+1 bonus entry: Share the giveaway video to their TikTok Story. Entrants with private accounts must take a screenshot showing the Story share and send it to The Educator's Edit via direct message before the Promotion Period closes.
Facebook
To receive one standard entry, entrants must:
Follow or Like The Educator's Edit Facebook Page.
Like the official giveaway post.
Comment on the giveaway post with:
the children's book their room could read 100 times and never get sick of; and
the name of their early learning centre.
No bonus entries are available for Facebook.
An entrant may enter on Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. A maximum of three entries per person on Instagram, three entries per person on TikTok and one entry per person on Facebook is permitted.
All entries must be made by the entrant personally.
Automated, incomplete, fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise non-compliant entries may be deemed invalid.
Prize
One winner will receive a Book Week book bundle with an approximate total retail value of $100 AUD.
The prize is intended for use at the winner's nominated early learning centre.
The prize is not transferable or exchangeable for cash or another prize.
Winner selection
One winner will be selected at random from all eligible entries received during the Promotion Period.
Each eligible standard and bonus entry will have an equal chance of being selected.
The draw will take place at 5:00pm AEST on Tuesday 1 September 2026.
The draw will be conducted using a random selection process.
If a selected entry is found to be ineligible, the Promoter may redraw another eligible entry.
Winner notification
The winner will be contacted via direct message through the social media platform on which their winning entry was submitted.
The winner must respond within 7 days of being contacted and provide the information reasonably required to verify eligibility and arrange delivery of the prize.
If the winner does not respond within 7 days, cannot be verified as eligible, or otherwise fails to meet the conditions of entry, the Promoter reserves the right to conduct a redraw.
The winner may be announced on The Educator's Edit social media channels using their social media username and/or first name.
Prize delivery
The prize will be delivered to an Australian address provided by the winner.
The Promoter will arrange delivery of the prize at no cost to the winner.
The Promoter is not responsible for delays, loss or damage caused by a delivery provider after the prize has been dispatched.
Disqualification
The Promoter reserves the right to verify any entry and to disqualify an entrant where the Promoter reasonably believes the entrant has:
breached these Terms and Conditions;
provided false or misleading information;
used automated or fraudulent means to enter;
attempted to manipulate the entry process; or
otherwise acted unfairly in relation to the promotion.
Social media platforms
This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, TikTok or Facebook.
By entering, entrants release Instagram, TikTok and Facebook from any responsibility or liability arising from or relating to this promotion.
Privacy
Personal information provided by entrants will be used only for the purposes of administering the promotion, verifying eligibility, contacting the winner and arranging delivery of the prize, unless the entrant has separately consented to receive other communications from The Educator's Edit.
Information collected for the purpose of administering the promotion will not be used for unrelated marketing purposes without the entrant's consent.
Changes or cancellation
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this necessary.
Any material changes to the promotion will be communicated through The Educator's Edit social media channels where reasonably practicable.
Acceptance of Terms
By entering the promotion, entrants acknowledge that they have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
